SEPLAA YLC

‘The more that you read, the more things that you will know.

The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go.’

– Dr. Seuss

Reading is a great activity. On the 3rd SEPLAA YLC  ‘Child Summer Leadership Development Session,  we read out loud and learnt how to make our reading sound interesting. There were three points that we discussed, they are:

  1. Read with confidence
  2. Read loudly
  3. Read slowly

A new girl also joined our club, her name is Aliza Omer. We all read a poem called ‘Macavity the Mystery Cat’ together and later an except from a book called ‘Super Fudge’.

We had a lot of fun because the poem had an interesting beat to it and because we read together as a team!
